Hobo Diaries, part deux

So this week I left my bike in storage and brought along a photographer to document my outings!

Early on in the week ended up going to the Gorges du Verdon for a bit of hiking and kayaking. Started off with some kayaking in the Lac de Castillon. The next day was a long and tough hike for a good 6 hours along the Sentier de l'Imbut. Finally an easier hike along the Sentier des Pecheurs before heading back to Nice.

Squeezed in a training day in the superb trails of Blausasc. Sadly it was on one of the hottest days of the year, I ended drinking about 5 litres of water in 4 hours but had a great time.

At the end of the week we ended up going up to St Martin Vesubie to see some high peaks. Played around at the summer resort of La Colmiane on the Friday, getting in some accrobranch, summer luge and mini golf. On Saturday we did a big hike up to the Lac Negre pretty high up in the mountains on the border to Italy. We could have hiked into Italy but ended up running back down to the car after a quick dip in order to go see a nature reserve with wolves before it closed!

Sadly my hobo journey is ending as I need to get back to work and reintegrate society next week, bummer.
